A fire broke out in Palxiang.
At 11 o'clock in the evening on the 19th, the fire department received multiple fire reports, alleging that there was a fire in a village house in Si Shek Pai Village, Kam He Road; in addition, it also received a report for help, stating that 4 adults and 1 child were trapped in the fire site .
Upon receiving the report, the firefighter rushed to the scene, activated two jets and dispatched two breathing apparatus teams to fight the blaze. The search and evacuation team members entered the fire scene to help evacuate the trapped people at the same time; the ambulancemen also rushed to guard.
Firefighters then evacuated at least 7 people and several dogs to a safe place for temporary shelter. Among them, 2 men and 2 women were unwell. They were treated by ambulances on the spot before being sent to hospital.
The authorities are investigating the cause of the fire.
It is reported that the above site is a village house made of iron sheets with an area of more than 1,000 square feet. It was formerly a chicken farm. The village house houses several family members, all of whom are relatives or "uncle brothers."
At the time of the incident, a villager discovered a fire and tried to pull the hose to fight the fire by himself, but failed.
Sources at the scene said that it was initially suspected that a short circuit of wires at the site caused a fire.
