Zheng Ruohua pointed out that first of all congratulations to all elected members, including 15 members of the legal profession. They will join other ex-officio members, members nominated by qualified bodies, and automatically elected candidates to form the new election committee. In addition to the nomination and election of the Chief Executive, two new functions in the electoral system must be fulfilled: the nomination of candidates for the Legislative Council election and the election of 40 members of the Legislative Council.

Zheng Ruohua also pointed out that he noticed that the turnout rate in the legal sector reached 100%, reflecting that the industry attaches great importance to this election.
"I will arrange to meet with committees of all legal sectors as soon as possible to discuss how to work with the industry to seize the opportunities brought by the "14th Five-Year Plan", the development of the Greater Bay Area and the "Qianhai Plan", so as to combine the needs of the country with the directors of Hong Kong.
