Gauting - Last Friday, September 17th, a 49-year-old woman came to the Gauting police station and stated that she had taken her horse for a ride in the morning and had an "unpleasant story".
She was with her horse on a dirt road near the location of her animal near Hausen when a van came towards her on her way. Although he had to see it clearly from a distance, the driver did not brake. Even shortly before he was level with the rider, he drove with the same speed even further to the left on her side. However, the rider could not move to the right on the field there, as there was a fence. Since the rider was also afraid that the car would throw her off the horse, she took her left foot out of the stirrup and lifted it up.
As the car drove past her, the mirror caught on her foot and flipped inward. Fortunately, both the rider and her horse survived the encounter with the van unharmed. According to the rider, the left wing mirror of the car was damaged by the collision. What is quite piquant about the matter is that the owner of the van is a farrier from Starnberg, who is now being investigated for coercion.
