Banfield is a club that is at the forefront in terms of technology and has just launched a mobile application in which fans can find information related to the day-to-day running of the institution and the football and sports teams that compete defending the colors green and white.

This application, called

iBanfield

, joins the first NTF collection that the Drill had already presented and in which fans can purchase collections related to the club's historic jerseys that are presented in virtual format and certified by Blockchain.

The NTFs presented by Banfield are the following:

Garrafa Sánchez

shirt from

the 2021 season promotion,

James Rodríguez

shirt from

the 2009 First Division champion team and the current shirt used by

Jesús Dátolo.

As for the application, it is available on the IOS (Iphone), Android system and can be downloaded by entering banfield.tech/app.

"Banfield continues to grow from different areas, in this case with the application that once again shows the Club seeking innovation, working with new technologies to provide better services to Members," explained Banfield Secretary Federico Spinosa.

The application was developed by Banfield's technology department and the work required

1,500 hours of programming,

which was carried out by a team that had representatives in five countries: Argentina, Romania, Austria, Russia and Switzerland.

"The main differential of the new mobile application is the sense of community, since iBanfield works the same as social platforms, in the style of Facebook or Twitter. Once inside, users can interact in more than 40 rooms with exclusive content from the Club Atlético Banfield for members and supporters, such as the Banfield Match chat where you can find a partner, "said Ignacio Uzquiza, treasurer of the club.

In the application, members and fans will be able to access exclusive content, the results will be reported live and matches of Youth Soccer, Women, and twelve other disciplines that are practiced in the institution, which has around 2,500 athletes, will be broadcast live.

The idea is not that iBanfield works only for the Spanish-speaking market: the app has an artificial intelligence algorithm that enables automatic translation into more than 50 languages, so it will have a presence in different countries around the world.
