The Democratic Party member of Sham Shui Po District, Yuen Hai-man, confirmed that he has received the letter of invitation.

He pointed out that the time will be set at 10 am on September 24 at the North Point Community Hall.

He said that he believed that the district councillors in the Kowloon district all had the same date and place.

In the afternoon of the same day, the government issued a paper stating that the government will hold the second oath of district council members at the North Point Community Hall on September 24, including the Yau Tsim Mong District Council, Sham Shui Po District Council, Kowloon City District Council, Wong Tai Sin District Council and Kwun Tong District Council. District councillor, and the Secretary for Home Affairs, Xu Yingwei, administers oaths as the commissioner for oaths authorized by the Chief Executive.

All incumbent Kowloon district councillors will be invited to attend the oath-taking ceremony. The commissioner for oaths has issued an invitation letter for the oath-taking ceremony to all the incumbent Kowloon district councillors today.

The government will release a list of district councilors whose oath is valid after the oath ceremony.

As for district board members who have made the administer of oaths question the validity of their oaths, the administer of oaths will follow up in accordance with relevant laws.

There are 56 District Councillors remaining in Kowloon

There are currently 56 district councillors in the five district councils in Kowloon.

There are 3 in Wong Tai Sin, 17 in Kwun Tong, 11 in Yau Tsim Mong, 15 in Kowloon City, and 10 in Sham Shui Po.

Among them, Yau Tsim Mong District Councillor Tu Jinshen was arrested for the pro-democracy primary election but has not yet been prosecuted. He is expected to be a "high-risk group."

Hong Kong Island District Council members completed the oath on September 10, and 7 of them were ruled invalid and disqualified as members, including the former chairman of the Wan Chai District Council, Yang Xueying.
