PolyU announced today that from the 2022 school year, "department-based" combined courses will be fully implemented. Except for specialized courses such as nursing, all courses will be converted to departmental combined courses.
Under the new arrangement, students enrolling in the Science Conference first choose a combined course of the department. After being admitted, they only need to take the common core course of the relevant department in the first academic year, and only choose the major course in the second year.
