Joy in the Kingdom: Princess Beatrice, the granddaughter of Queen Elizabeth, gave birth to her first child last Saturday, a celebratory announcement was made today (Monday) at Buckingham Palace.
This is the first joint daughter of the princess (33) and her husband Eduardo Mozi who married in May 2020, a sister to Christopher Wolf, Mozi's son from a previous relationship.
According to the royal family, Beatrice's parents - Prince Andrew and his ex-wife Sarah Ferguson, as well as the rest of the family, are "happy with the birth of the princess".
The granddaughter of the Queen was born at Chelsea Hospital in London last Saturday, weighing 2.81kg. "The couple is eagerly awaiting the introduction of the baby to her older brother Christopher."
And what about her position in line for the crown?
At birth she stood in 11th place, and is the 12th granddaughter of Queen Elizabeth.
