Eight people died Monday (September 20) in Russia in an armed incident at a university in Perm, the Urals, investigators said.
Six other individuals were injured.
The author of the shootings was arrested, they said, adding that they were in the process of taking stock of the incident.

At around eleven o'clock, an unknown man entered the Perm University campus with a non-lethal weapon and opened fire,
" the university said in a statement.
