A student shot dead eight people at a university in Siberia today (Monday) and wounded several others, Russian authorities said.
Shooter University of Perm, 1,300 kilometers distant from Moscow, was arrested shortly after the killing spree. Investigative Committee of Russia, which is responsible for investigating major crimes, said the shooter was identified as a local student. Motive for the shooting is unknown.
