The Russian health authorities announced that 18,554 new cases of coronavirus had been recorded during the past 24 hours, including 1,597 in the capital, Moscow.
The operations room for combating the outbreak of the epidemic stated in its report today that 788 new deaths were also recorded, and 14,497 people recovered.
The report indicated that the total number of injuries in the country amounted to 714,070 people, of whom 1,92,749 died, and 6,389,657 people recovered.
