A 24-year-old man was shot dead today (Monday) in a vehicle in the Bedouin settlement of Zarzir in the north of the country.
The incident took place around 4:00 PM, and the MDA hotline subsequently received a report of the young man's condition, who was fatally injured.
"The wounded man was lying unconscious and suffering from a penetrating and bleeding injury to his body," said MDA paramedic Maor Etadegi.
We put him in an intensive care unit and evacuated him while continuing his treatment to the hospital when his condition was critical. "
Shortly afterwards we were informed at the hospital that the medical staff had been forced to determine the young man’s death.
The police said that an investigation had been opened to clarify the circumstances of the incident. "The background to the shooting is a conflict between criminals. Many police forces, accompanied by a mobile laboratory, rushed to the scene and isolated the scene. At this stage, they are collecting findings and investigating the incident."
