One week until the election - and for the two applicants and the applicant for the Chancellery, the third and last TV triad is now over.
According to a lightning survey among viewers, SPD applicant Olaf Scholz did best in the television debate.
When asked who won the TV triumph all in all, 42 percent voted for Scholz.
Armin Laschet (Union) came in second with 27 percent, and Annalena Baerbock (Greens) came in with 25 percent.
Six percent chose the answer "I don't know".
The broadcaster Sat.1 presented these survey results on Sunday evening in its debriefing directly after the Triell, which was broadcast on ProSieben, Sat.1 and Kabeleins.
Forsa asked 2291 viewers who were eligible to vote for the survey, according to the broadcaster.
The survey therefore does not refer to all eligible voters in Germany, but only to TV viewers.
Later in the evening, the ProSiebenSat.1 television group published further details of the survey.
When asked "Who did you find most credible?" Scholz was again ahead with 37 percent.
This was followed by Baerbock with 29 percent and Laschet with 28 percent.
Immediately after the broadcast, the teams celebrated their own candidates on site - unsurprisingly.
SPD general secretary Lars Klingbeil told the dpa news agency: "Olaf Scholz has once again convinced in this triumph, he is the clear winner." The topics made it clear that there is a lot of overlap between the SPD and the Greens.
"But of course everyone is fighting for himself now."
CDU General Secretary Paul Ziemiak told the dpa about Laschet: "He was the only one with chancellor format, and he was the only one who talked about the people who get up every day, work and pay taxes."
And Greens federal manager Michael Kellner said: "Annalena Baerbock took Armin Laschet apart very well, and Olaf Scholz acted a bit like a sidekick."
