Engineer Abdul Majeed Qilfa, General Manager of Hama Oil Company, indicated that the company's sales during the past eight months of this year amounted to 2 billion and 995 million, corresponding to sales of 1.556 billion pounds in the same period last year, with an increase of 1.438 million pounds.
In a statement to SANA Economic Bulletin, Kelfa indicated that from the beginning of this year until last August, 2,932 tons of cotton seeds were pressed, resulting in 219 tons of oil and 2,281 tons of cake, in addition to 75 tons of lint and 11 tons of soap, pointing out that there is a wide demand from citizens for the company's products, especially The oil material, which witnessed a significant increase in its price and a decrease in its quantities.
Kelfa explained that the company manufactures competitive products in terms of price and specifications, and the prices of the produced oils are less than those in the market by between 40 and 50 percent, indicating that the company markets its products to public institutions such as the Syrian Trade, the Military Social Institution and the halls of the Ministry of Industry. It also sells directly in the company’s hall to citizens at a rate Only two liters per citizen.
