The Syrian Virtual University and the Excellence and Creativity Commission announced today the results of the qualifying test for the programming marathon for young people and adolescents for the year 2021, “the category of adolescents”, which took place last Saturday with the participation of 1023 adolescents from different governorates.
The results announcement, which SANA received a copy of, included the names of those who qualified for the last marathon competition, which is scheduled to be held in Damascus on the first of next October.
The names of the finalists can be found by visiting the virtual university website or the link within the official marathon page on “Facebook”.
The programmatic marathon, in its stages and training, targets children between the ages of 8 and 11 years, and adolescents between the ages of 12 and 15 years.
The software marathon competition is considered the first stage of achieving digital transformation that serves economic and social development and a foundational stage whose outputs can be benefited from to build a generation of young people. Technology becomes a daily learning tool for it. One hundred thousand children and adolescents across the Syrian geography between 2020 and 2030, with successive steps.
