Regensburg - Last Thursday (September 16) officers from the Regensburg * Süd police station carried out bicycle controls in the city center.
Several violations were found.
The police * announced in a press release that there will also be such controls in the city in the future.

The police checked cyclists between 5:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. in the area of Kepplerstrasse and Kumpfmühler Strasse.
The officers found several violations, such as disregard of the red light or cell phone use while driving.
With the controls, the Regensburg Süd police station wants to increase road safety.
Similar controls are to take place in different places in the future.
