For the last 2022 budget of the Macron five-year term, the government is playing the fiscal stability card.
Unsurprisingly, no new measure to reduce compulsory levies is planned.
The executive, however, confirms the latest tax cuts for next year, as promised by Emmanuel Macron during the presidential campaign of 2017 and the following years.
And, more broadly, he does not hesitate to highlight the results of the five-year term in this area of taxation, a few months before the presidential election.

For its latest budget, the executive gives up savings
During the presentation of the text on Wednesday, the tenants of Bercy, Bruno Le Maire (Economy) and Olivier Dussopt (Public Accounts) did not fail to congratulate themselves on having reduced the tax burden by 50 billion euros since 2017.
