As the federal police announced, a suspected drug courier was stopped on September 10 at the Hörbranz border crossing.
The woman from the Dominican Republic with a Spanish residence permit was sitting in a long-distance bus from Barcelona that was headed for Munich.
The 23-year-old said she was on her way to Zurich to visit a friend there.
However, Vienna was listed as the travel destination on her bus ticket.
The woman was also unable to show that the alleged girlfriend could be reached or that she had a chat history.
Cocaine smuggled on the body
During the later search, the federal police found two drug packages on the Dominican woman's body.
As it turned out later, the narcotics were around 1.2 kilos of cocaine.
The officials of the main customs office in Ulm brought the alleged drug courier before the judge at the Memmingen district court.
The accused was then taken to the Memmingen correctional facility.
