- A cleaner reported to the Freising police on Tuesday at around 8.30 p.m. by emergency call that smoke was rising from the FOS / BOS branch on Gutenbergstrasse.
The Freising volunteer fire brigade then moved out with 25 men and five vehicles.
The police were on duty with four officers.
After an inspection of the site, however, the all-clear could be given: There was no fire.
The screw conveyor that was supposed to transport the ash from the pellet heating system had overheated.
Everything was under control after the fire brigade had aired the room.

In the northern district of Freising there was also a major operation this week, which looked serious on the outside: four fire departments were practicing the emergency on a farm - and filmed the extinguishing operation.
Unfortunately, the operation on Monday was not an exercise: In a gravel works near Freising, a truck driver was crushed in the driver's cab and had to be freed by the fire brigade.
