Iraqi deputies, media professionals and political analysts affirmed Syria's support in the face of the terrorist war waged against it by the enemies of freedom.
Iraqi MP Abbas Al-Bayati pointed out that the situation in Syria after the presidential elections and the victories recorded by the Syrian Arab Army confirms once again that those who bet on the collapse, division and dismantling of Syria have failed miserably.
For his part, the official spokesman for the Iraqi Counter-Terrorism Service, Sabah al-Numan, said that Iraq and Syria are one country and one people, and we are concerned with security and stability in Syria, just as we are concerned with security and stability in Iraq.
In turn, Saeed Al-Jiashi, a political expert in the Iraqi Prime Minister's office, stressed that the reality of what is happening in Syria is not a tactical or regional war, but rather a conflict of nations between colonial thought and the free, independent national will.
He added that the victories of Syria and its valiant army over the herds of terrorism is a lesson for all those who tamper with the security of countries and the peace and security of the world and humanity, noting the steadfastness and support of the Syrian people behind their leadership.
For his part, Sabah Zangana, head of the Iraqi Union of Strategic Experts Center, affirmed that "the Syrian Arab Army was able with great efficiency to repel terrorism not only from Syria and Iraq, but from the entire Arab region."
