An archeologist on a trip to Israel discovered a human skeleton buried in the ground.
The human skeleton was discovered in the Ma'ale Yemin area within the Makhteshim Ein Yahav Nature Reserve, near the Israel Trail, which is considered a popular hiking trail in Israel.
The hiker, an archaeologist by profession who went on a trip for Israel, identified part of the skeleton that protruded from the ground.
A report was passed to Dimona police officers.
The police contacted the Nature and Parks Authority and asked for help locating the place.
The inspector of the Nature and Parks Authority on the Makhteshim axis led the police team to the point where the skeleton was located and assisted in identifying the skeleton's whereabouts.
The police officers collected the findings and they were taken for further examination at the Institute of Forensic Medicine.
