The units for the supply and exhaust air systems are installed in the attic of the primary school.
This means that the proportion of outside air is 100 percent.
Mayor Reinhard Huber (local list of travel) informed the local council about this.
Meanwhile, there is no need for new devices.
Eitting - Due to the built-in heat recovery technology, the supply and exhaust air flows are structurally separated from each other. According to Huber, this means that there is no mixed air. Since there are hardly any more documents about the system, a specialist company carried out an air volume measurement. According to the company, the continuous operation of the ventilation systems on level two ensures a sufficient, hygienic exchange of air, which also meets the criteria for the new construction of corona-compliant, stationary air-conditioning systems. The used air is discharged into the open air. Therefore, no HEPA filters or mobile air purification devices are required in the rooms that are ventilated by the system.
In addition, the children should still be able to learn sensibly and not be disturbed in their concentration by the operation of the system.
That is why the noise emission was also examined.
This operating mode produces an average of 30.4 dB (A).
The experts rated the value as teaching-compatible.
The Workplace Directive recommends 35 dB (A) as the maximum continuous sound level and a maximum assessment level of 55 dB (A) for activity category one.
This includes high concentration and high speech intelligibility.
The ventilation system is quieter than corresponding mobile air purifiers.
However, since the municipality has four such devices, one of them should possibly be used in the teachers' room.
As a precaution, however, Eitting installed finer filters in the system.
"We achieved the best possible", Huber is convinced.
“We should write a letter to parents that everyone knows.
Then there is no longer anything to talk about, ”suggested Christine Wiest (non-party).
In addition, at Huber's request, a plan of the system with connections etcetera should be drawn up.
"The company that installed it no longer has any documents," said the mayor.
