The conclusion of the Lattakia Judo Championship

The Lattakia Judo Championship, which was set up by the technical sub-committee of the game for both men and women categories, was concluded at Al-Basel Stadium, with the participation of clubs and training centers that play the game in the governorate.

In the women’s category championship, Alia Agha won the first place with a weight of 48 kg, a weight of 52 kg, Nancy Matraji, a weight of 57 kg, Jodi Muhammad, a weight of 63 kg, Marwa Halloum, and a weight of 70 kg, Walaa Agha.

In the men’s category championship, Walid Yuzbashi won the first place with a weight of 60 kg, a weight of 66 kg, Muhammad Jaqal, a weight of 73 kg, Aqaba Taiba, a weight of 81 kg, Alaa Al-Sheikh, a weight of 90 kg, Muhammad Amin Zidan, and a weight of 100 kg, Muhammad Ammar.

Committee Chairman Haitham Habib said in a statement to SANA’s sports reporter that the goal of the tournament is to stand on the level of the players, test their technical and physical readiness, and select the best among them to represent the governorate’s team in the upcoming Republic Championship scheduled for the twenty-fifth of this month.
