The Lebanese Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants, Abdullah Bou Habib, discussed today with the Syrian Ambassador to Lebanon Ali Abdel Karim ways to develop and strengthen bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries.
After the meeting, Ambassador Abdel Karim said, "The meeting is an opportunity to take advantage of all circumstances to strengthen brotherly relations between the two countries," noting that "the unilateral coercive measures imposed on Syria have had negative effects on Lebanon."
Abdul Karim stressed the need to raise the level of economic cooperation and cooperation in the field of combating terrorism and understanding the points that would allow the Syrians to return to their country and rebuild what terrorism destroyed there.
