The occupation closes the center of Hebron as dozens of settlers storm an archaeological area

Today, the Israeli occupation forces closed Bab Al-Zawiya area in the center of Hebron in the West Bank, in preparation for dozens of settlers storming an archaeological area there.

Wafa news agency reported that the occupation forces stormed the area and closed the (Beersheba) road leading to the center of Hebron to provide protection for the settlers during their storming of an ancient house.

The city is witnessing a major escalation and settlers’ incursions into archaeological and religious sites, accompanied by measures and closures imposed by the Israeli occupation forces to secure protection for them and prevent Palestinians from accessing it, the most recent of which was yesterday’s complete closure of the Ibrahimi Mosque.
