With the aim of improving the reality of working women and raising their income level, the Working Women's Committee in the Daraa Workers Union continues to hold various professional courses to help women enter the labor market.
Yamamah al-Rabadawi, head of the Working Women’s Committee in the Daraa Workers’ Union, indicated in a statement to SANA Economic Bulletin that the governorate’s workers union held several vocational courses within the project to support the economics of the working family. And agricultural industries, both vegetable and animal, cooking, nursing, marketing, handicrafts and electronic commerce.
She added: The number of women who benefited from the courses reached 15 women in one course, and the trainees are granted a recognized certificate and obtain a license for one year. Supporting women's economics has achieved a positive resonance among working women as it benefits them by increasing their expertise and launching their own projects.
The women participating in the courses expressed their great happiness with this course, as it constitutes an important opportunity to help women learn new skills that help in developing and enhancing the family’s income by setting up various small craft projects, especially in light of the difficult living conditions. .
The Working Family Economics Support Project is based on training and educating the working woman or a member of the worker's family on a profession or craft at the expense of the General Federation of Trade Unions, which contributes to providing family income support.
