The Magistrate's Court in Petah Tikva today (Wednesday) extended the detention of Akrama Azzam, 21, from Taibeh by eight days.
According to the suspicion, on Tuesday he arrived at a wedding in Taibeh with an automatic weapon and murdered 25-year-old Alaa Sarsour and wounded three other celebrants - one in serious condition and two in light condition.

Judge Nahum Sternlicht ruled in his decision that there is a reasonable suspicion that Azzam committed the offenses attributed to him and as stated extended his detention by eight days.
Azzam's lawyer, Advocate Alon Tankji, said in response: "He denies what is attributed to him."
