Herrsching - Recently, more precisely, between Saturday September 18 and Tuesday, September 21, a previously unknown perpetrator broke into the front building of the Seefeld parish home, according to the Herrsching police.
As the officials said in a press release, the perpetrator levered open one of the windows of the old rectory on the east side of the property with massive force, got in and got into the office wing of the building. There he entered and searched all rooms after he had levered open the locked intermediate doors with at least two tools of different widths and in one case also kicked or smashed them. Although the perpetrator had opened and searched all cupboards and desks, he left the scene with no prey. At the time of the offense, there was neither cash nor any other art or valuables in the parish hall. The perpetrator probably left the building on the west side via an escape door in the corridor between the old and new buildings, which he opened from the inside.
The Herrschingen police currently put the property damage at at least 5,000 euros.
Several traces could be secured at the crime scene, the evaluation of which is still ongoing.
