Trouble about asphalt

The construction work is already underway, as a tangible dispute broke out over the renovation of the General-Kalb-Weg in the Fasangarten between the community of interests for the residential complexes at Perlacher Forst (IWAP) and the Giesing district committee.

The building department is currently paving the 350 meter long section south of Cincinattistraße.

A separate 1.80 meter wide sidewalk is planned next to a 2.70 meter wide two-way cycle path.

The IWAP, however, does not want asphalt on the forest path, but a surface that can be infiltrated.

The district committee had initially preferred that, but turned around in January when it became known that contaminated fillings were present in the underground.

In addition, potholes occur again and again on paths with a water-bound ceiling.

All of this has apparently bypassed the IWAP.

Therefore, she was now upset that the will of the BA was disregarded by the city.

This misinformation sat even the CSU city council faction, which therefore called for the expansion to stop immediately.
