The general election is in five days.
Who will move into the Chancellery?
The SPD's lead over the CDU / CSU is getting smaller.
Berlin - Can the Union intervene again in the Bundestag election campaign?
Chancellor candidate Armin Laschet said on Monday in the Konrad-Adenauer-Haus: “I am firmly convinced that the Union will win this election.” According to a new survey, the CDU / CSU can at least make up some ground.
The SPD remains in the lead.
Bundestag election survey: Union is the only party to grow - and shortens the distance to the SPD
According to the "trend barometer" from RTL and ntv, the Union comes to 22 percent.
It is the only party that has gained percentage points (+1) compared to the last survey by the polling institute Forsa.
All other parties arrive at unchanged values.
The SPD around Chancellor candidate Olaf Scholz achieved 25 percent and is three percentage points ahead of the Union.
The Greens follow in third place with 17 percent.
FDP and AfD both reach 11 percent.
The left must tremble with 6 percent to move into the Bundestag.
The other smaller parties lose one point compared to the previous week and together reach 8 percent.
The strongest party of the “Others” are the Free Voters with 3 percent.
Other surveys had recently forecast a similar distribution.
Federal election survey: These coalitions are currently possible
In the possible government alliances after the federal election, the Forsa survey does not bring too much movement. Under the leadership of the SPD, both a traffic light coalition (SPD, Greens, FDP) and a red-green-red alliance (SPD, Greens, Left) would be possible.
A Germany alliance (SPD, Union, FDP) with social democratic leadership is also mathematically possible.
Because a continuation of the grand coalition is mathematically possible, "Germany" is considered unlikely.
Theoretically, a Kenya coalition (SPD, Union, Greens) is also conceivable.
However, the SPD has recently made it clear that it does not want to govern primarily with the Union.
“I don't want to hide the fact that I would like to form a government with the Greens,” said Scholz in the last TV triall and, with a view to the CDU / CSU, added: “I believe that most of the voters agree wish that the Union is in the opposition. ”But that will be decided by the voters on Sunday.
