While Gal Gadot is taking advantage of the holiday season for a bit of a tummy tuck here in the country, abroad she finds herself in a new corona explanation video with a small sting in her direction.
The new 3-minute informational video was created by "Family Man" creator Seth McFarlane.
The video stars two of the main characters in the series, Brian and Stewie, who discuss Peter's fears of getting vaccinated.
McFarlane came to Jimmy Kimmel's Light Night show last Monday and showed the video while he and Kimmel also discuss the irony inherent in the fact that the video is supported by the Fox network, the same network that also provides a platform for bot vaccine opponents.
"What Peter can ask is what if the vaccine makes him sick," Brian says in a video that takes place when the two are in Peter's vein.
Stewie replies to him: "The side effects from the vaccine are usually mild and last for a few days, but do you know what can cause prolonged and severe side effects? Corona.
"But he assumes everyone around him will be vaccinated so why him too"?
"He needs to understand that the vaccine protects not only him but the people around him," Stewie explains, adding that if they continue to allow the virus to spread through the unvaccinated population, it can mutate into a variant that the vaccines can no longer fight, then adds mockingly: To the starting point: Gal Gadot sang "Imagine" and we must not let that happen.
The sting in Gadot's direction, of course, reflects the performance of the actress and her friends in the swamp at the beginning of the epidemic in March 2020, when she tried to spread a musical gesture of encouragement to raise morale. Unfortunately for Gal, in practice the result was the opposite, as she was attacked on the net for what many called a "disconnected", "cringy" and "emotionless" performance.
