What is hated today?

A video of lions caressing each other, a phrase by Tosar taken out of context and an innocent message from Solana unleash the fury of Twitter

Twitter is full of those people who enter a nightclub, choose their prey and say: "Were you looking at me wrong?", With the face of "I'm going to break a glass over your head."

They go to the social network to see what is hated today, they twist someone else's comment until it becomes a great controversy or directly write a provocative message to start the fight.

Let's look at some practical cases.

Example 1

Tweeter called @ainhoasuspendida hangs a very tender video - "the most beautiful I've seen in my life" - of a couple of lions caressing each other. @inviaata responds: "It shows that you don't have children: there are infinitely more beautiful and sweet things"; @secretterror replies, in turn: "There is nothing more unnecessary than a baby"; @tuighty intervenes, returning to the lions: “When they kill the young of the females so that they go into heat they are not so friendly”; @machoblanco: “Well, it's not very different from all the

femilocas

who are in favor of abortion ”;

@ Mata-Hari: “Let's see… it's the least the lion can do, pet his lioness, which is the one that goes hunting and raises her cubs while he spends the day touching his eggs.

I say".

@CTeruca believes that the beast is pretending: “I don't believe that lion.

For me he was unfaithful and is at fault.

All males equal.

Bandits! ”.

@AngeldSevilla: "And humans marrying and then separating because of these painful laws."

@JonatanAlvarez: "Well, if this is the most beautiful video you've ever seen, what a life."

Example 2

Galician actor Luis Tosar is

trending topic

several consecutive days. It makes sense because she is promoting her latest film, Maixabel, about the encounter of an ETA victim with the terrorist who murdered her husband. But that's not why. An interview headline taken out of context - "If he was born in Euskadi, perhaps he could have ended up in ETA" - has caused Twitter to fall on him. Says @rosadiez: "How much human misery"; @ Rouco64: “The thing has balls. A guy who says he enjoys playing with his children stating that he could have ended up in ETA, that ETA that set car bombs and killed children ”; @ TenienteRuz1: “Boycott #volldamm [the beer that Tosar advertises]. Choose who represents you, preferably without murderous instincts like Tosar ”; @lafregonasucia: “I liked Luis Tosar, but playing an ETA murderer, son of the devil himself, to get a job is to fall very low.From today I will never see a movie of hers. If I had done porn I would have been less disgusted ”; @ vivival5: “Luis Tosar. As a child I dreamed of being an ETA assassin. Then you ask for subsidies from the Spanish girdle ”.

Here it must be said that there were also tweeters who bothered to read the interview and share the actor's full response.

To the specific question of whether he could have “ended up in Jarrai or in ETA” had he been born in the Basque Country, Tosar replied: “Maybe yes, or no.

It depends on many factors.

The environment can do a lot, but there is also an intention, it is in you ”.

Twitter also recalled that Fernando Aramburu, author of Patria and little suspected of pro-ETA, had made a similar statement in the past and had not burned Troy.

You don't have to pay much attention to the mindless lynchings of social networks, but we go, before the slightest doubt;

I, always with Luis Tosar who, by the way, says almost the same thing that Fernando Aramburu said without remembering any scandal 👇 pic.twitter.com/VQhyBloQnR

Example 3

Javier Solana, former minister, former NATO president and current president of the Prado Museum's board of trustees, publishes an apparently innocent tweet: "My solidarity with everyone."

A few hours later there is a

trending topic

“Thank you, Javier” for responses like these: “You're welcome, Javier.

The butane cylinder, 16.10 euros.

Five consecutive increases of the self-employed and unable to work due to the covid.

Six million unemployed and 50% of youth unemployment ”;

"And not all of them?

Fascist!".

My solidarity with everyone.

- Javier Solana (@javiersolana) September 20, 2021

And so every day.
