The United States recently reported that it would allow the fully vaccinated to enter by air. What other pious allow it?

(CNN) - The

United States became the most recent country to announce a change in its travel restriction measures due to the covid-19 pandemic, which will now allow the arrival by air of foreigners who are fully vaccinated.

  • These clinics will offer two-for-one vaccines: against covid-19 and influenza

These new US requirements will go into effect in November.

In October, other countries also plan to make their rules more flexible and there are some nations that have been allowing the arrival of international tourists for a long time.

Here we tell you which countries have announced travel requirements that are directly or indirectly related to people's vaccination status.

Germany

In principle, residents of the Member States of the European Union, and also Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway and Switzerland (associated states of the Schengen area), can enter Germany without restrictions, although, if there are countries that are classified as high risk or with a variant of concern, restrictions apply.

Arrivals from other countries depend on the epidemiological situation and vaccination status.

As of September 20, unrestricted tourists from 14 non-European Union countries are allowed in, including Hong Kong and Canada.

Check here the complete list.

Arrivals from countries that are not on that list are allowed if travelers are fully vaccinated.

However, there are special measures when traveling from countries considered high risk or with worrisome variants (see the list here, valid as of September 19).

People who arrive from these two categories have to go through quarantine, and the decision to do so or not depends on the level of risk.

All people arriving in Germany must fill out a digital registration form before traveling.

Those arriving by plane must present a negative covid PCR test carried out in the 48 hours prior to the trip, or a complete vaccination test.

Canada

As of September 7, Canada allows "discretionary" travel (such as tourism) for any foreign national who presents proof that they are fully vaccinated.

Unvaccinated people will have to continue to meet exemptions or travel for "nondiscretionary" reasons (eg study).

chili

Chile will welcome international travelers from October 1.

Visitors must submit a negative covid PCR test that has been performed within 72 hours prior to the flight, travel medical insurance with a minimum coverage of US $ 30,000, register on the national C19 website, and obtain a "mobility pass ", the Chilean version of a vaccine passport in which vaccination data can be entered.

All visitors who obtain the mobility pass have to isolate themselves for five days after arriving in the country, while those who are not vaccinated or do not obtain the mobility pass will have to isolate themselves for seven.

China

On March 15, 2021, travel restrictions to China were relaxed for a select number of travelers from 23 countries.

Those coming for work or humanitarian reasons - such as reuniting with family - can apply for a visa, as can APEC business travel card holders.

Chinese citizens can also return to their country.

However, people of all categories must have been vaccinated with vaccines made by China at least 15 days before travel.

Croatia

Borders are open in Croatia, although travelers need a digital covid certificate from the European Union;

or a proof of vaccination, recovery from covid-19 or a test with a negative result.

Arrivals from some destinations are subject to quarantine and anyone coming from a non-European country will need a confirmed accommodation reservation.

Ecuador

To enter Ecuador by air, it is necessary for the passenger to show the complete covid vaccination scheme (this must have been completed at least 14 days before the trip) or have a negative covid test carried out up to 72 hours before the flight.

Ecuadorian land and sea borders remain closed.

The Savior

Foreigners who do not have permanent residence in El Salvador and want to enter the country need a PCR-RT, PCR, NAAT or LAMP test with a negative result, and it will have to be taken within 72 hours before arrival.

Those who have a complete vaccination scheme (one or two doses, depending on the vaccine received) can enter showing their vaccination certificate, without the need to perform a covid test.

United Arab Emirates

The UAE opened tourist visa applications to vaccinated travelers from all countries starting on August 30.

Spain

All foreigners visiting Spain, either to stay or in transit to other nations, must fill out a health control form.

Once you do this, you will receive a QR, which you must show upon arrival in the country.

In addition, people who come from high-risk countries have to present one of these documents to enter Spain: certificate of complete vaccination scheme;

a covid PCR or antigen test;

or proof of having recovered from covid-19.

USA

Beginning in early November, the United States will allow fully vaccinated foreign nationals to enter the country by air.

In addition, they will have to show a negative covid-19 test result before boarding the plane.

Fiji

Fiji will receive tourists again at the end of 2021. Travelers planning to visit the island will need to be fully vaccinated, show a negative covid PCR test and be a country on Fiji's "green list" (although the criteria on the latter).

France

Since July 18, fully vaccinated travelers from any country can enter France without having to undergo a covid PCR test.

To be considered fully vaccinated, travelers must have received two doses of one of the four vaccines approved by the European Union: Pfizer, AstraZeneca, Moderna, or Johnson & Johnson.

The second dose must have been administered at least two weeks before the trip.

After initially stating that travelers with Covishield, the AstraZeneca vaccine manufactured in India, would not be considered fully vaccinated, authorities announced that they would recognize this vaccine.

Greece

Travelers from the main block of countries allowed to enter Greece can skip the quarantine, as long as they have a negative PCR test performed in the 72 hours prior to the trip, proof of having recovered from covid in the last 2 to 9 months, or proof that they have been fully vaccinated and completed their vaccine cycle at least 14 days prior.

These are the main group countries: all of the European Union and Schengen area countries, United States, United Kingdom, Albania, Armenia, Australia, Azerbaijan, Bahrain, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Brunei, Canada, China, Israel, Japan, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Moldova, New Zealand, North Macedonia, Qatar, Rwanda, Saudi Arabia, Serbia, Singapore, Thailand, United Arab Emirates, and Ukraine.

The accepted vaccines are Pfizer BioNtech, Moderna, AstraZeneca, Novovax, Johnson & Johnson, Sinovac, Sputnik, Cansino, and Sinopharm.

This represents a departure from the official policy of the European Union, which consists of admitting only those who have received vaccines approved by the bloc.

People from Montenegro must present a vaccination certificate and a negative PCR test.

All travelers must fill out a Passenger Location Form (PLF) prior to travel.

Honduras

Anyone who wants to enter Honduras must fill out the government's electronic pre-check, and present a negative covid PCR, ELISA or antigen test that has been taken up to 72 hours before entering the country.

Shapps said eight countries will be removed from the red list on October 22, including Turkey - a popular destination for British vacationers - Bangladesh, Egypt, the Maldives, Oman, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Kenya.

Also, "later in October, (fully vaccinated travelers) will be able to substitute the second-day PCR test for a cheaper antigen," added Shapps, referring to the test that is required two days after arriving in England.

Travelers who test positive for covid-19 will have to pass quarantine and undergo a confirmation PCR test at no additional cost, "which would be genomically sequenced to help identify new variants," according to a statement published by the government of the Kingdom. United on Friday.

Ireland

All foreigners who are going to travel to Ireland need to fill out a passenger location form online before the trip.

Failure to do so is considered a violation.

In addition, passengers must have proof of a complete vaccination schedule, of covid recovery or present a negative covid PCR test that has been taken 72 hours before arrival in Ireland (tests other than PCR are not valid).

Israel

Since September 19, Israel has allowed the visit of small foreign tourist groups from certain countries, through a pilot program to boost tourism, the government reported on September 5.

Tourist groups of between 5 and 30 people from countries included in Israel's green, yellow and orange lists will be able to enter the country as long as all members of the group are fully vaccinated against covid-19, the Ministry of Tourism reported.

Individual tourists, who have not been allowed to visit Israel since the start of the coronavirus pandemic in March 2020, unless visiting family members, will still be unable to enter if they are not part of a tour group.

Under the program, there will be no restrictions on the number of tour groups Israel will let in, but groups from countries on Israel's red list - which currently includes Bulgaria, Brazil, Mexico and Turkey - will not be allowed to enter.

Foreign tourists must show that they have received a second dose of the covid-19 vaccine in the last six months or a booster shot in order to enter.
