Authorities in Sudan seize property granted by ousted dictator to Hamas during his rule | Israel today

This is what Reuters reports, following the warming of relations between Israel and Sudan since joining the Avraham agreements. • These are more than ten companies that have used Hamas in the past - a severe blow to the Palestinian terrorist organization

Authorities in Sudan have seized assets granted by ousted dictator Omar al-Bashir to the Hamas terrorist organization during his rule, Reuters reports.

Apparently these are more than ten companies that have been used by the terrorist organization in the past.

Beyond normalizing relations between Israel and Sudan, Khartoum's action against Hamas indicates that the Abrahamic agreements are a severe blow to Palestinian terrorist organizations.

So far, Sudan has served both as a base for fundraising, and of course as a stopping point for transfers of weapons and funds from Iran to the Gaza Strip.

According to the report, among the confiscated properties are apartments, companies, a hotel in a central location in Khartoum, a TV station and even a million dunams of agriculture.

"Hamas has enjoyed preferential treatment in tenders, waiving taxes, and there has been no problem in transferring the funds to Hamas and Gaza," a senior Sudanese official said.

As you may recall, yesterday Turkey also joined as a supporter of the initiative of Israel and the countries of the Abrahamic Treaties at the UN. These are two countries with a very hostile past, openly, towards Israel - and therefore a significant step towards regulating relations in the Middle East.
