Erlangen - On Tuesday evening (September 21) around 10:40 p.m., a man threw a hammer at a cyclist - and only just missed him.
A short time later, the Erlangen * police were able to find and arrest the 33-year-old suspect.

The cyclist was in the area of the Wöhrmühle in the direction of the city center.
As he drove past the 33-year-old, he turned around and threw the hammer at the boy.
He evaded in good time and reported the incident to the police, who later arrested the suspect on Huguenot Square.
The officials took the 33-year-old to a clinic because he was apparently in an exceptional psychological situation.
In the meantime, the Erlangen criminal investigation agency has taken over the case.
It was not until Monday evening (September 20) that an unknown person hurled a hammer at an outgoing underground train in Nuremberg.
He only just missed the head of a 27-year-old.
The man is 1.67 meters tall and has short, dark brown hair that is slightly curled.
Indeed, he wore olive-green cargo pants, a hooded parka of the same color and a black T-shirt with text printed on it.
He also had a backpack with him - also in olive green.
Witnesses are asked to report possible information about the man and the crime to them: 09 11 21 12 33 33.
