The fixed vaccination centers and mobile teams for vaccination against the Corona virus of the Al-Hasakah Health Directorate witnessed a good turnout from citizens wishing to take the vaccine at the end of the national vaccination campaign launched by the Ministry of Health on the fifth of this month, targeting all citizens over the age of 18.
The Director of Health, Dr. Issa Khalaf, said in a statement to SANA reporter that the directorate set a daily work program throughout the period during which the national vaccination campaign was launched with the aim of reaching the largest number of citizens wishing to receive the vaccine through 8 fixed centers in various cities and regions of Al-Hasakah Governorate, in addition to running 9 teams A roving in which 71 workers in the health sector participated in reaching rural areas and temporary shelters.
Dr. Khalaf pointed out that the turnout of citizens in the national campaign was good in light of the increasing societal awareness of taking the vaccine and immunizing against the virus and contributing to preventing its transmission, as the number of beneficiaries of the campaign that concluded yesterday reached 11,028 citizens in various parts of the cities, towns and countryside of the governorate.
Citizen Khulud Ramadan, who and her husband took the vaccine in the updated medical center in the city of Hasaka, indicated that the symptoms of the vaccine are simple, such as high fever and weakness, which lasted only two days, calling on everyone to take the vaccine, especially those who suffer from chronic diseases or weak immunity.
Orwa Al-Mohammed indicated that his field of work in selling foodstuffs and his daily dealings with citizens increases the possibility of being infected with the virus, and for that he went to the vaccination center to receive the vaccine and immunize himself from infection.
