Mystery on the eve of the holiday: A woman from Ma'ale Adumim was found dead in her apartment, her husband escaped and tried to commit suicide
The woman was found dead on the eve of Sukkot at her and her partner's house in Ma'ale Adumim.
Later, her partner broke through a police checkpoint and was fatally wounded after shooting himself in front of police officers.
"She left a mark on the hearts of many people," her friend wrote

A resident of Ma'ale Adumim was found dead on the eve of the holiday in her apartment in Ma'ale Adumim - Walla learned!
Shortly afterwards, her husband escaped and broke through a police checkpoint and fatally wounded himself after shooting himself in front of police officers.
In the woman's family, working at the Yad Vashem Museum, as well as friends and acquaintances, there is complete shock upon learning of her tragic death.
The woman has worked in recent years as a researcher in the archives department at Yad Vashem. She was a beloved mother and wife among her acquaintances and family.
In a post shared this week, the woman wrote, among other things, "and with a smile they staggered my wings, when my hoarseness from time to time seemed to whine, and my limbs froze, and I lost my strength, and only in a whisper did I admit that I was alive."

A family friend responded to the woman's tragic death and asked to strengthen the family members, "We are with you and hurt you very, very much, hugging, loving and grieving. Your beloved and amazing mother has done so much good in her life and left a mark on many people's hearts! She won the best and happiest place."
"Yad Vashem was shocked and hurt by her untimely passing. This is a difficult time for the Yad Vashem family and we will extend a warm and supportive hand to a family that has been orphaned by such a significant figure."
