Nuremberg - At Schwabach * there was a serious traffic accident on Wednesday evening (September 22nd).

As the police * reported, a 19-year-old driver from Regelsbach overtook a scooter driver and a car.

In the subsequent right-hand bend, the driver came off the road and crashed into a tree.

The impact was so severe that the engine block tore off and the car broke in two.

According to witness statements, the 19-year-old was traveling at excessive speed.

In the bend he probably lost control of his vehicle and as a result went off the lane.

The young driver was seriously injured in the accident and his life is in danger, according to the police.

The 17-year-old passenger was also moderately injured in the impact.

Since the driver was trapped in the car, the fire brigade had to cut him out.
