The Russian emergency services announced today the death of all crew members of the plane, whose disappearance was announced yesterday, in the Far Eastern Khabarovsk Territory.
"All six people on board the (Antonov An-26) plane that crashed in the Khabarovsk region in the Russian Far East were killed," TASS news agency quoted a spokesman for the emergency services as saying, adding that "the remains of the six dead were found at the site of the accident."
According to the emergency services, rescue teams and employees of the Ministry of Emergencies continue to work at the site, while the investigation committee continues its investigations to find out the circumstances of the accident.
The plane belonging to the Air Testing and Systems Foundation disappeared from radars yesterday in a mountainous area where a nature reserve is located, about 38 km from the city of Khabarovsk, while it was carrying out a technical flight with the aim of testing aerial communication devices.
