The National Union of Syrian Students, Iran Branch, discussed with the Islamic Student Gathering Union in Iran ways to strengthen relations between the two unions in various fields.
The two sides also discussed further activating relations between the two federations and the formed bodies of both federations in various Iranian universities in order to increase networking between Syrian and Iranian students through various cultural, sports and tourism activities.
The delegation of the National Union of Syrian Students, Iran Branch, was headed by Dr. Hossam Al-Salama and Muhammad Hussain Kazemi, head of the Union of Islamic Student Gathering in Iran and responsible for international relations in the union.
The Islamic Student Gathering in Iran praised Syria's resistance role and its support for Iran, stressing that the relationship between the two countries is historical and has solid roots that have resulted in confronting terrorism.
