Argentine defender Marcus Ruho, who returned to his homeland in January 2020 after playing in the past decade at Spartak Moscow, Sporting Lisbon and almost seven years at Manchester United - managed to particularly excite a young Boca Juniors fan in a critically acclaimed gesture on social media.
In the video, which went viral, his 31-year-old spirit was seen arriving with the team players at the hotel and handing his mask to the boy Jose Bolasio, who was standing behind barriers along with other fans outside the hotel where Boca players were staying in the city of Santiago del Astro in Argentina.

This morning (Wednesday to Thursday) Boca Juniors defeated local Patronto after a penalty shootout in the quarterfinals of the Argentine Cup en route to the semi-finals.
Social media criticized his spirit for the gesture, which like the video could go viral as well, when one of the tweeters wrote on Twitter: "This moment that Marcus' spirit put an end to the corona plague", and another added: "Why not give him your toothbrush too, Marcus?".
In contrast, the boy's family thanked his spirit in a personal letter and wrote: "Thank you so much for fulfilling the dream. The emotion on his face says it all, his heartfelt tears at the gift from his star."
