Algeria's animosity towards its Moroccan neighbor has just taken a further step in an escalation, which began this summer, the limits of which we no longer perceive.
This time, President Abdelmadjid Tebboune was responsible for announcing, Wednesday, September 22, that Algerian space will be closed to Moroccan planes.
This decision follows that, launched in an equally impromptu way a month ago, of the Algerian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ramtane Lamamra, which severed diplomatic relations between the two countries.
