With the return of the curve of infections with the Corona virus to rise again in Daraa Governorate, Daraa National Hospital has raised the state of readiness to receive severe cases that need extreme care.
Dr. Bassam Al-Hariri, Director of the General Authority of the Hospital, said in a statement to SANA reporter that Corona patients occupy today a quarter of the hospital’s isolation department beds, i.e. 10 beds out of 40 beds, noting that the isolation department receives dangerous cases that require superior medical measure, while the average cases The simple subject to home treatment.
Hariri pointed out that the increase in infections comes from non-compliance with precautionary measures, in addition to the new mutated strains of the virus, which are more dangerous than the Corona virus and affect all ages.
Al-Hariri indicated that private clinics receive daily between 5 and 6 cases, the diagnosis and apparent symptoms indicate that they are corona, and they receive their treatment at home, explaining that the only way to prevent infection with the virus is wearing a mask, sterilization, and spatial distancing.
