Civil Defense elements in Homs governorate, in cooperation with the Ministry of Agriculture’s extinguishing, put out a fire that broke out with dry herbs, pine trees and chestnuts in the lands of Rabah village in the western countryside of the governorate.
Brigadier General Ghiath Akil, Director of Civil Defense, told SANA reporter that the branch’s operations room received a report about a fire in the lands of Rabah village, and immediately the elements went to the place and worked in cooperation with the extinguishing of the Agriculture Directorate to cordon off the fire before it spread, then control and extinguish it, and carry out the cooling and monitoring process to prevent its recurrence. .
Earlier today, Homs firefighting teams put out two fires that engulfed dry grass and olive trees in the city of Homs and its countryside.
