A 17-year-old was taken into police custody after a stab wound to a 14-year-old teenager in Sarcelles.
The facts occurred on Wednesday afternoon, around 2 p.m., rue de Déodat-de-Séverac, in the Grand-Ensemble.
The police were alerted by residents reporting a brawl between young people.
Upon arrival at the scene, officials located the victim.
The emergency services took care of the 14-year-old boy, who presented wounds caused by a stabbing weapon, especially in the groin.
After providing him with first aid on the spot, the emergency services transported the victim to the Robert-Debré hospital, in Paris (19th century), in absolute urgency.
His vital prognosis, which had been started at the start of the operation, was then lifted.
The youngster is considered out of danger this Thursday.
Hypothesis put forward: a dispute related to drug trafficking
As part of this attack, a 17-year-old was arrested by the Sarcelles police officers and taken into police custody.
The origin of the facts is not determined with certainty.
But the investigation, opened for attempted homicide, would turn towards a dispute in a context of drug trafficking rather than in that of a brawl between gangs of neighborhoods.
The young people have already been seen previously at points of sale, and could be involved in trafficking.
The Sarcelles police station is in charge of the investigation.
