A shooting occurred at a Kroger in Collierville, Tennessee, east of Memphis on Thursday afternoon, according to city spokeswoman Jennifer Casey.
Collierville Police Chief Dale Lane says there are 13 victims, one of whom died after the shooting in a Kroger.
The attacker was found dead, the chief said.
Casey later told
The Commercial Appeal

that there were multiple injuries and that the people were being taken to hospital after the shooting at the supermarket.
Casey was unaware of the extent of the injuries, according to the newspaper report.
Since then, the scene has been secured and a media briefing is in the works, Casey told CNN.
