Indeed, according to the results of the 2020 income tax campaign published at the end of July, 10.8 million households paid only part of the tax actually due last year. The tax authorities must thus recover 16.3 billion euros. “
This can be explained, for example, if your income increased last year and you did not report it in your personal space on

Concretely, from next Monday, the administration will make a withdrawal from the bank account of the taxpayers concerned if the amount to be paid does not exceed 300 euros.
If, on the other hand, the amount requested is greater than these 300 euros, a quarter of the total amount due will then be debited and then the other three quarters on October 25, November 25 and December 27.
