Transport in Ile-de-France: the disruptions of the weekend of September 25 and 26

It is the improvement on the networks of Ile-de-France. Apart from a few changes in service on the RER or Transilien lines, the disruptions


RER B.

Mandatory change to go from north to south and vice versa.

Due to maintenance work in the tunnel on the central section of the line, the north-south interconnection is suspended throughout the weekend.

Travelers taking the entire line will have to change trains at Gare du Nord.

RER C.

No train will run, Saturday and Sunday, between Invalides and Juvisy and between Paris-Austerlitz and the branches going to Pont de Rungis on the one hand and Massy-Palaiseau on the other.

Substitution buses are in place.

At the other end of the line, from Javel to Versailles-Château and Saint-Quentin en Yvelines, trains are replaced by bus connections, from 10 p.m. to the end of the service.

RER D.

This Sunday, after 10:50 p.m., trains to Melun will not stop at Créteil and Villeneuve-triage stations.

Travelers wishing to get there can take replacement buses from Maisons-Alfort.

Line H.

The services to Ermont-Eaubonne and Sarcelles-Saint Brice from Gare du Nord are canceled on Saturday and Sunday.

They are replaced by substitute buses departing from the Plaine-Stade de France station, accessible by the RER.

Line K.

Traffic is suspended all weekend between Mitry-Claye and Gare du Nord.

Line K users can switch to RER B which makes the same route.

Line L.

Traffic is interrupted on Saturday and Sunday on the Saint-Lazare / La Défense and Saint-Lazare / Maisons-Laffitte sections.

The RATP bus lines in the sector are reinforced throughout the duration of the disruption.

Line R.

Terminus in Melun for line R this weekend.

The trains which continue their route towards Montargis or Montereau are canceled.

They are replaced by substitute buses.

Metro 4.

A little more disruption than usual to expect on the 4. Due to the continuation of the automation work, the line is normally closed to users every Sunday morning (until noon).

But this September 26, the entire line will be closed all day.

Traffic will return to normal on Monday.
