Washington, SANA- In confirmation of Washington’s blatant bias towards the Israeli occupation entity, the US House of Representatives voted today

Washington-Sana

In confirmation of Washington's blatant bias towards the Israeli occupation entity, the US House of Representatives voted today by a majority in favor of legislation to provide the entity with one billion dollars in military aid to fund Iron Dome.

According to Reuters, the parliament supported the legislation by 360 votes to eight against.

The approval of the US funding was postponed yesterday, following the opposition of a group of Democratic members of Congress and their refusal to vote in favor of the budget in the event that it included the “Iron Dome” interceptor missile clause, and the related clause was deleted from the budget law, to be incorporated later in the security budget law.

It is noteworthy that US President Joe Biden, like others who preceded him in the White House, renewed his full commitment to providing military aid to the occupation entity. Last year, Washington provided Israel with financial aid worth $3.8 billion as part of a long-term annual commitment within an agreement signed by former US President Barack In 2016, Obama granted the Israeli entity an aid package of $38 billion over 10 years, all for military purposes.
