David Lamb, head of the Planning, Liaison and International Affairs Unit of the Federal Economic Competition Commission of Mexico (Cofece), talks about the fine imposed by the autonomous body on 17 Liga MX clubs, as well as on the Mexican Federation de Fútbol (FMF) and 8 people, for their responsibility in carrying out monopolistic practices.

This Thursday, the FMF responded that the practices attributed to it were eradicated and that both the governing body of Mexican soccer and the clubs endorse their commitment to end any act that goes against the law.
