The Love and Peace Youth Gathering team, which landed in Deir ez-Zor governorate, organized an event entitled “A Nation’s Epic” in the cities of Deir ez-Zor and Al-Mayadin, which included sports, artistic and environmental performances, theatrical performances, and lighting candles of peace, in addition to honoring a number of families of the martyrs and the wounded.
Team leader Anwar Al-Mohammed said in a statement to SANA reporter that the event comes as a continuation of the work of the team that visited most of the Syrian governorates to present national paragraphs and performances that embody the image of Syria before the terrorist war on it and what it was subjected to during the years of war, the heroism of the righteous martyrs and the courage of the men of the Syrian Arab Army, and confirms the determination and persistence of the people of the country To rebuild what was destroyed by terrorism, and that Syria is a country of love and peace.
Al-Mohammed explained that the team presented lyrical and sports paintings, in addition to two theatrical performances, “Voice of the Martyr” and “Yasmine,” which talked about the events that Syria went through and carried a message that the Syrians are the builders of civilization and man, and the cradle of love and peace.
Hana Makna, the culture official in the assembly, confirmed that the values of our message are rooted in this land that was satiated with the blood of martyrs and triumphed after it withstood terrorism and the siege, while director and actor Basil Fattal pointed to the great interaction by the people of Deir Ezzor who flocked in abundance to participate in the events, while actress Gharam indicated Al-Ali, the work is summed up in the fact that Syria, despite all the terrorism and destruction it has been subjected to, will remain the incubator for all its sons who did not and will not abandon it, and today they are joining hands hand in hand to rebuild it.
For their part, a number of attendees confirmed that the paragraphs presented by the Youth of Love and Peace group touched on many issues and events that they went through and lived through.
